About Cedar Wellness Review
We are an independent New Zealand editorial team focused on honest, plain-language reviews of men's health supplements and lifestyle resources for active men over 50.
Who We Are
Cedar Wellness Review was established in Auckland in 2024 by a small team of New Zealand health journalists, nutritional researchers and wellness writers. Our editorial focus is men's pelvic health and everyday wellbeing for active New Zealand men in their 50s, 60s and beyond.
Our team includes writers with backgrounds in health journalism, nutritional science and consumer advocacy. We do not employ medical doctors and do not provide medical diagnoses or treatment advice. Our reviews are editorial assessments of publicly available supplement products, drawing on EFSA-authorised nutritional research and peer-reviewed literature.
Our Review Process
Each product reviewed on Cedar Wellness Review is assessed against five editorial criteria: ingredient transparency, EFSA-backed nutrients, formula rationale, value for money in the New Zealand market, and ease of ordering. Scores are assigned by our editorial team based on publicly available information and do not represent clinical evaluations.
We cross-reference ingredient claims against the EFSA Register of Authorised Claims and published nutritional literature. We do not claim to evaluate medical efficacy and explicitly note when products are food supplements rather than medicines.
